Light Always Accompanies Darkness
My very own film that I wrote, produced and acted in… DARKNESS… was screened at The Academy of Communication in Healthcare, an annual international conference for healthcare professionals from all over the world. The screening was followed by a discussion with my dear friend, sorority sister and healthcare expert Aisha Langford, PhD. We joined forces and combined both our passions into a session called Blending Art and Women’s Health. We discussed what occupies many women’s minds today, how we see ourselves, how we speak to ourselves and how all of that influences our overall mental health. We enjoyed our time together in beautiful, sunny San Diego. Best work trip ever!
